Go Figure! Code Calculations: a Four Part Study. SD & WY Approved Code Continuing Education Classes WY98-016C 4, 8, 12, or 16 hours of Code credit
Schedule: 8 AM -12 AM, 1PM - 5 PM each day, registration at 7:30 & 11:50 Instructor: Steve Arne, SD Certified Technical Educator Materials needed: Calculator, note paper, pencil. Current NEC Code book is REQUIRED Advance Registration Required: Please see: Contact InformationSeminar Objectives: 1. To provide for a study of calculations necessary for the application of the National Electrical Code. 2. To provide up to 16 code hours of continuing education credit for electrical license holders.
Class Format: This seminar will make extensive use of a workshop approach. The Instructor will provide introductory information on the topics and provide examples and explanations of the code requirements and principles involved. Instructor lecture will include use of overhead transparencies or Power Point presentations and white board for examples. The Instructor will then act as a Facilitator as the students answer code questions and practice code calculations using the worksheets provided in the class workbooks
